Fish that Fly

Another activity I did today is about animals that fly. Once I had clicked on the link from the Summer Learning Journey I had to pick an animal that flies. The animal I chose is the Flying fish.

  1. Greetings Hannah,

What a great choice of a flying animal you have made! I love the way you have set out your work, the colours of the font stands out and it is easy to read. I also like how you have given a small title for each piece of information that you have included to your digital learning object (DLO), excellent work Hannah!

Yes, you're absolutely right, these flying fish are found in the top 200 metre layer of the ocean, also known as the "sunlight zone". Maybe you could catch sight of one if you're ever on a boat out in the ocean! It's hard to believe that they can fly so fast. That's fast than some of the cars you see on the road! They can even spend quite a bit of time out of water for a fish. Do you think you could hold your breath for 45-50 seconds?

    Keep it up,
    Evelyn :)
