St John facts

Speech

Slime

This week our class is learning to write instructions. We had three options to choose from one was a paper plane an other was slime and the last was a cheese sandwich. We had to choose witch one we wanted to write instructions for. Here is my instructions to make slime.

The meaning

Today and yesterday we had to make a slide show that tells the readers what alliteration, similes, onomatopoeia, homophones and homonyms are. Here is my slideshow. 

Gumboot

Today we decorated gumboots and we also learned how to make gumboots. Here are two facts, one they use rubber to make the gumboot, two is they use a gumboot mould get the shape of the gumboot. Here is an image of my gumboot.

Today we were learning about germs and how to stay clean and then we had to make a poster to encourage people to wash their hands. Here is my poster.

For the first activity we have to decide if we think that Twenty-Seven Names is a good brand name. I think that Twenty-Seven Names is not a good brand name because I don't see a meaning behind it if there is one and it doesn't sound right.

For the third and final activity I have to write whether or not I would participate in 20 or 40 hour famine. I would participate in a 20 hour on if it was for charity or something but other then that I would not dot it.

BTS

For the last activity for today we had to watch a video about the BTS group and then decide if we like then or not. I personally do not like the BTS group because they to me don't sound good and  I just don't like them.

Role Model

For the second activity was have to write who our role model is and what makes them a role model to us. My role model is Mrs Bailey because she respects, listens and she looks after people. That is why Mrs Bailey is my role model.

For the first activity for today I had to draw for photograph a picture of my favourite but the cover has to
be designed by me. The book  cover I am recreating is Harry Potter. The author is J.K Rowling, the

Netball

For the second activity I had to do today was where I had to write what my favourite game was and
how to play it. My favourite game is netball and how you play is one person on your team will be
centre easy 2 people will be attack  and another 2 people will be defence. What the defence does is
they stop the people who are on attack from getting the ball into the hoop, what attacks does is they try
to get the ball into the hoop in school their team appoint and centre starts the game  and tries to pass
the ball to one of the people who so the attack can get the ball in the hoop.   

Summer Learning Journey

The first activity of the day is that we have to watch a video about Pasifika Aquabot competitions then think if we would want to join why/why not. I would not want to join because you just steer and pick things up. To me that is very boring to do so I would not want not want to join. 

Nobel Prize

we had to think if we could give the Nobel prize to anyone who would it be and why.  The person I would give it to is Dwayne Johnson By Gal Gadot because he changed the world.

On our blog we had to watch 3 videos about tiny houses and then decide whether we would want to live
in a tiny house.  I do not want to live in a tiny house because everything will be crammed and I like a

3-D-Printed Prosthetic Hands

On our blogs we had to write three things we learnt about 3-D-printed prosthetic hands and one thing that surprised us.  One thing I learnt was that they started to make these 3-d hands in 2013 and the one thing that surprised me was that most children getting access to the device is an impossible dream.
