Pepeha

For my other teaser I had to make a pepeha which is when you introduce yourself. This is my pepeha.

    Ko Waikato taku awa (Waikato is my river)
    Ko Maketu taku marae (Maketu is my marae)
    Ko Tainui taku iwi (Tainui is my tribe)
    Ko Leisha taku ingoa (Leisha is my name)
    Kei Otorohanga taku kāinga (Otorohanga is my home)

    Was this your first time writing your own pepeha? I remember writing my own pepeha when I was at school many years ago.
