Rosa Parks

the second activity was where have to write what problems Rosa Parks faced when on the bus and what she did to solve that problem. The problem was that Rosa didn't think that it was fair that the African American people got treated badly, so she decided to stay where she was when the bus driver told her to move seats, but then she got arrested and went to court but then judge agreed with Rosa Park and so she didn't go to jail. After that Rosa's history would always be remembered.

  1. Hello Hannah,

Thanks for sharing your blog post about Rosa Parks. Segregation was a huge issue in the United States during the 50s and 60s. Can you imagine what it would be like to be told you couldn’t sit, eat, or go to School where you wanted to?

It’s pretty amazing how Rosa’s actions helped to end racial segregation in America. Her and Martin Luther King Jr inspired a whole movement for equality. Can you think of a time when somebody treated you unfairly? Sometimes you just have to put your foot down and stand up for what’s right.

    Keep on blogging Hannah :)
