Serena Williams

Today for the S.L.J I had to write three things I have learned about either about Serena Williams or Venus Williams, we also have to write what we still want to know about that person. I choose  Serena Williams.  The three thing I learnt was that she is a famous tennis player, she was born on the 26 September 1981 and she is 38 years old. I still want to know why she wanted to play tennis?

    Thanks for your blog post! Wow, I didn’t realise that Serena Williams was 38 years old. A lot of professional athletes retire in their 30s, so it’s impressive that she is still going strong.

    I would also like to know why Serena Williams wanted to play tennis. I read that she started playing when she was only 3 years old. Maybe her parents encouraged her to play and then she fell in love with the sport? Do you play any sports, or have any activities you started doing when you were only 3 years old?
